Wall Art for Modern House interior decor

About Studio Nobis

This practice explores the relationship between surface, structure, and quiet material expression. Each work is shaped by hand, guided by restraint and clarity rather than ornament. Subtle variations, imperfect edges, and tonal shifts are not corrected — they are allowed to exist.

Rooted in wabi-sabi sensibility yet composed with architectural discipline, the works aim to create presence without noise. They are not decorative statements, but spatial elements that interact with light, scale, and silence.

Practice

The studio works primarily with plaster, mineral pigments, and natural materials. Surfaces are built gradually — either through constructed foundations or through successive layers applied by hand. Each piece evolves through process rather than predetermined perfection.

Series-based collections explore structure, abstraction, and reinterpretations of ancient scripts. The intention is not replication, but translation — bringing historical or material language into a contemporary spatial context.

Every piece is unique and crafted with attention to proportion, balance, and architectural compatibility.

All works are produced in the studio and finished with natural linden wood frames, treated with wood oil to preserve the material’s honest texture.

Studio visits are available by appointment.
